The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released the date sheet for the 2023 board exams of class 10th and 12th.
The detailed board date sheet is now available at the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in.
According to the official release, the board exams 2023 for class 10 will start from February 15, 2023 and conclude on March 21, 2023. Similarly, class 12 board exams will take place between February 15, 2023 and April 5, 2023.
The Exams will begin at 10:30 am. While most of the exams will be of three hours duration and will conclude on 1:30 pm, some will be of two hours duration and will conclude at 12:30 pm.
As per the release, sufficient gaps have been provided between the two examinations.
Also, the board has taken care of competitive examinations, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
The date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two papers of a student fall on the same date, the release stated.
The date sheet has been issued much in advance so that the students can prepare well for the examinations.
Moreover, unlike 2022 when exams were held in two parts, CBSE will now conduct single board exams, with 100 per cent syllabus, like it was done in pre-pandemic time.
